I am a 28 year old novelist from the midwestern United States. My work tends to focus on Sci-Fi and Fantasy.
My work tends to focus on Sci-Fi and Fantasy. I tend to explore religious and LGBT themes, imperialism, romance, and supernatural mystery. I love drama, intrigue, and tragedy.
I’ve been writing to various degrees since I was thirteen years old. The first project of mine that was in any way presentable was a web serial which I will be neglecting to name, because it isn’t very good by my current standards. Even so, the practice it gave me was a necessary part of my writing journey
I started, but did not finish, various novels over the course of the next few years. That kind of thing petered out while I was working on my English degree at Missouri State University, from which I graduated with honors and a 4.0 GPA. Resurrecting, and ultimately finishing, those old novels is one of my current priorities. I’m currently working on a vampire novel which was originally conceived as a 2018 NaNoWriMo project. That story has evolved an enormous amount over the years I’ve worked on it. It’s a monster, and I don’t know when I’ll finally manage to finish it, which is why it’s not my only current work-in-progress.
My proper start as a published, professional, definitively-a-real-author author was early this year. On January 30, 2023, The Springstorm Alpha, a paranormal romance novel that is also a paranormal mystery thriller, was released. While it is the only novel of mine that has been released to date, it is intended to be the first part of a larger series, the next entry in which is currently my primary work in progress. That book will hopefully release early next year.
I also have some interest in game design. I’ve been an avid tabletop gamer for years, and I’ve already published a third party Starfinder 1e book about a monster I designed. I’m currently heavily involved in another tabletop RPG project. I think I’m going to keep the details of that to myself, for now, but when the time comes to talk about it, I’ll make an announcement on this site.
In addition to my professionally published work, I’ve written a significant amount of material for the SCP wiki. The SCP wiki is a non-profit collaborative writing platform hosting thousands of stories by almost as many creators, all taking place in a shared universe where everything you can imagine is real, but knowledge of the supernatural is tightly controlled by the eponymous SCP Foundation. Everything I’ve ever written there it is available for free to read online, right now. This page links to everything I’ve written there. This includes several short stories and an ongoing serialized novel. If you want to sample some of my work for free right away, I encourage you to check it out!
